Avonwood

"Vanessa took a really personal approach by launching the sponsored reading event in assembly, managing ALL admin and payments, securing business donors, then wowing our school with total raised - £2,400 for new books, not from school budget.”

Chris Jackson, Headteacher,
Avonwood Primary School

Queens Park

“Our infant school took part in the first Great Big Read 2020. We were staggered with the results… nearly £2,000 to spend on books for a low impact and stress-free event.”

Merley

“Merley First School participated in Great Big Read 2020. Vanessa met with our staff then took the lead in organising and facilitating the entire event.
